One of United Way's core values is to be accountable for every dollar raised and spent. At the bottom of this page you will find a copy of United Way of Sarasota County's IRS Form 990 and our Annual Audit (conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standard by an independent CPA firm).
Your contribution is invested with grants from our funding partners programs that work. We have a great responsibility to make sure your contribution is invested in the most effective way possible. Please continue to stay involved with United Way and follow the progress of your investment.

To be accepted as a United Way of Sarasota County agency, the agency must meet the following requirements:
- It must be a local, nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation
- It must provide health/human services
- It must have met financial reporting standards (including annual audits)
- It must be controlled by a voting Volunteer Board of Directors
- It must address a problem the United Way of Sarasota County, Inc. considers a priority
