United Way of Sarasota County announces a new program to benefit children and their families to address critical immediate needs. This program will help with the prevention of homeless families and children through programs of various agencies including The Salvation Army, Child Protection Center, Children First, and Jewish Family and Children's Service.

United Way of Sarasota County has joined forces with Cove Cleaners to start this new opportunity for the public to contribute to this program. Cove Cleaners jump-started this program with a generous donation of $1,000 to United Way of Sarasota County. Alan Loring, CEO of Cove Cleaners (personally) also has pledged matching funds of the first $1,500.
