With so many families facing personal crisis, we are pushing harder than ever to reach our goal to assist hard-working families. Unemployment and foreclosures are continuing to increase, placing extra demands on all service providers.

At United Way, we are struggling to ensure that critical programs we fund will continue to serve children and families at existing levels. The Board of Directors has committed operating reserves to continue services but will not be able to do so indefinately. United Way has also begun a number of initiatives designed to help families in our community, including the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Our community needs your support more than ever, whether your contribution is $5, $25, $50 or more, those dollars add up! While it is difficult for everyone today, it is more difficult for those who seek the services we fund and support because they can't meet their basic needs of safety, food, clothing and shelter. Please consider a contribution today.
